I’m a designer with a background in Informatics and Human-Computer Interaction from UC Irvine, but a lot of my interests outside of tech shape the way I approach creative work. I grew up playing flute and oboe, spent time performing in wind ensemble, and still spend way too much time listening to music, going to concerts, and talking about pop culture with friends.
I also love shooting on film. Most of the photos I take are of friends, concerts, events, and moments that feel personal. I like that film forces you to slow down and actually think about composition instead of taking hundreds of photos at once.
A lot of the work I enjoy sits somewhere between design, technology, music, and visual culture. I’m naturally pretty outgoing and collaborative, and I like projects that feel creative, visually interesting, and human instead of overly corporate.
Outside of design, you’ll probably find me behind a camera, on a bike ride, or lost in my favorite album.
